Bisolvon Extra 60 ml
Bisolvon Extra is an expectorant cough medicine containing Bromhexine HCl and Guaifenesin. Bromhexine works by thinning mucus, while Guaifenesin helps increase the flow of mucus along the respiratory tract, effectively relieving productive cough and easing mucus expulsion during coughing.
Dosage:
- Adults and children over 12 years: 10 ml (5 ml spoon), 3 times a day.
- Children 6-12 years: 5 ml (1 teaspoon, 5 ml), 3 times a day.
- Children 2-6 years: 2.5 ml (half teaspoon, 5 ml), 3 times a day.
Directions for Use: After meals.
Precautions: Avoid using Bisolvon during the first three months of pregnancy and while breastfeeding.
Pregnancy Category: Category C: May be at risk. The medication should be used with caution if the benefits outweigh the risks to the fetus. Animal studies indicate risks to the fetus, and there are no direct studies on pregnant women.
