Cohistan contains Glyceryl guaiacolate and Chlorpheniramine maleate. This medication is used to reduce mucus secretion and relieve productive cough and cough due to allergies. It may cause drowsiness, so avoid driving or operating machinery that requires high concentration while using this medication.
Dosage:
- Adults: 3-4 times a day, 1 tablespoon (15 ml).
- Children 7-12 years: 3-4 times a day, 1/2 tablespoon (7.5 ml).
- Children 2-6 years: 3-4 times a day, 1 teaspoon (5 ml).
Directions for Use: After meals.
Precautions: May impair the ability to drive or operate machinery.
