Guanistrep is an anti-diarrheal medication containing Kaolin and Pectin. These ingredients work by adsorbing toxins and bacteria that cause diarrhea, reducing bowel movement frequency, and improving stool consistency. It is used for symptomatic treatment of diarrhea with unclear causes.

Dosage:

• Adults and children over 12 years old: 2 measuring spoons (10 ml) after each bowel movement, up to a maximum of 60 ml in 24 hours.
• Children aged 6-12 years: 1-2 measuring spoons (5-10 ml) after each bowel movement, up to a maximum of 30 ml in 24 hours.
• Children aged 3-6 years: 1-2 measuring spoons (5-10 ml) after each bowel movement, up to a maximum of 15 ml in 24 hours.
• Children under 3 years old: As directed by a doctor.

Directions for Use:

• Shake well before use.
• Can be taken with or without food.
• Take after each bowel movement.

Precautions:

• Use with caution in individuals with hypersensitivity.
• May affect the absorption of other medications; allow a 2-3 hour interval between taking this and other oral medicines.
• Do not use for more than 2 days or in cases of high fever.
• If symptoms persist for more than 2 days, consult a doctor immediately.
