Panadol Blue (10 Tablets)
Panadol is a medication containing Paracetamol, used to relieve pain from headaches, toothaches, muscle pain, and to reduce fever. Paracetamol works on the hypothalamus's temperature-regulating center to lower body temperature (antipyretic) and inhibits prostaglandin synthesis, reducing mild to moderate pain (analgesic).
Dosage:
- Adults & Children > 12 years: 1-2 tablets, 3-4 times daily.
- Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours.
- Children (6-11 years): 1/2-1 tablet, 3-4 times daily.
- Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours.
- Not recommended for children < 6 years.
- Minimum interval between doses is 4 hours.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose or as directed by a doctor.
Directions for Use:
Take before or after meals.
Cautions:
- Use with caution in patients with kidney disease.
- If fever persists for more than 2 days or pain for more than 5 days, seek medical attention.
- Using this medication in patients who consume alcohol may increase the risk of liver damage.
- Pregnancy Category B: May be used by pregnant women. Animal studies have shown no risk to the fetus, but there is no direct research involving pregnant women.
