Woods Antitussive is used to treat non-productive cough caused by allergies, containing a combination of antitussive and antihistamine, Dextromethorphan HBr and Diphenhydramine HCl. Dextromethorphan HBr as an antitussive works by suppressing the central cough reflex, while Diphenhydramine HCl is an antihistamine that blocks histamine at H1 receptors.

Directions for Use: After meals.
Precautions: Do not drive a motor vehicle or operate machinery during the use of this medication. Not recommended for productive cough. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, consult a doctor. Not recommended for children under 6 years unless directed by a doctor. Use with caution in patients with liver dysfunction. May cause respiratory depression and central nervous system depression at high doses.
